Photos of Hopes & Dreams performances

SWORD, the Theatre Group of St Wilfrid's, put on a wonderful production of "Hopes & Dreams" in February 2000 and some of the photographs taken during the performances are shown here to give some idea of the colour, movement, energy and spectacle of this uplifting event. Videos were taken during one of the Kibworth performances and the De Montfort Hall performance and copies may be bought - contact Louisa Feltham ( 0116 2793232).

The SWORD production was presented for the last time at the De Montfort Hall (Leicester) on June 15th at 7.30pm with Fiona Castle as guest speaker. Hosted by the Leicester Diocese Mothers' Union as part of their Triennial Rally guests included the Rt. Rev Tim Stevens, Bishop of Leicester, and the Lady Mayor of Leicester.

"Hopes & Dreams" is a presentation of song, dance and drama based on the Lord’s Prayer – probably the best known prayer in the world.  The "Millennium Prayer" hit single sung by Sir Cliff Richard is from this musical.  It is a Rob Frost project written by Paul Field and Stephen Deal, with some additional songs by Graham Kendrick, for the New Millennium. This is our adaptation of "Hopes & Dreams".  We hope that you will find a message within it to take away with you.
