St. Wilfrid's Church Hall Extension

The Church Council finally approved the go ahead for the Church Hall extension in November 2004. WW Brown from Market Harborough are the builders. Here is a photographic sequence, taken during the progress on the extension.

Photo 1 - 18th February 2005
The site for the extension has been cleared, the shed removed, the patio slabs removed and a few grave markers moved.

Earth has been removed to form the base for the new patio.

The foundations have been dug, concrete has been poured, and the breeze blocks are beginning to be laid. these will form the edge of the new extension.

Photo 2 - June 2005
Completed, with newly laid patio and ready for summer activities.
